Breast cancer is one of the most common malignancies and a leading cause of cancer-related mortality among women worldwide. The Wnt signaling pathway, a fundamental regulator of cell proliferation, differentiation, migration, and survival, plays a pivotal role in the initiation and progression of breast cancer. This study investigated the expression patterns of Wnt family genes, their association with clinical characteristics and patient prognosis, and their potential as molecular markers for early detection. Bioinformatic analysis of TCGA and GEO datasets revealed significant upregulation of *WNT2* and *WNT7B* and downregulation of *WNT11* in breast cancer tissues. Furthermore, elevated *WNT7B* expression was associated with poor prognosis, while reduced *WNT11* expression correlated with metastasis and increased invasiveness. At the receptor level, increased *FZD8* expression in clinical samples was linked to reduced survival rates, vascular invasion, and larger tumor size. Additionally, upregulation of *APC*, *DVL3*, and *LEF1*, alongside downregulation of *FZD4* and *TCF7L1*, was observed across all five breast cancer subtypes. At the epigenetic level, microRNAs such as miR-130a, miR-199a, miR-2115, and miR-497 were identified as key regulators of Wnt genes. The findings of this study indicate that components of the Wnt pathway—specifically WNT7B, FZD8, β-catenin, and factors such as DKK-1—hold significant potential as molecular markers for early detection and as targets for targeted therapy in breast cancer.
